I had the pleasure of photographing Janet and Jim's wedding in Asheville. Janet is absolutely the best, I could have not asked for more. Janet planned an incredible event with grace and composure. People like Janet and Jim are why I love what I do.
I posted earlier saying I was really looking forward to this wedding and I wasn't disappointed. April & Mike's wedding was truly about the love they have for their families and each other. I am grateful and honored to have been a part of their day.
I am getting ready to leave for April & Mikes' wedding in Burlington in a couple of hours. I wanted to post a couple of pics from their engagement session. I have really been looking forward to their wedding as it will be in a little one room church back in the woods. If ever two people were in love and were meant for each other, it is April and Mike, it just makes me feel good to be around them.
Karen and Brandon will be getting married in a couple of weeks. We had a great engagement session on the grounds of Biltmore Estate. Karen is also the owner operator of Vision's Catering which do a wonderful job, (try the brownies) on many weddings I have photographed over the years. Love ya Karen.
Amber & Jeff were married Sept. 27 at Jamestown United Methodist with the reception at J.H. Adams Inn. This was a great wedding, Amber is so easy to work with. Jeff and myself spent some time talking about our early Nintendo days. (It's a guy thing.)
It is not often I get to post images from my bridal sessions, so I thought I would post a couple from earlier in the year of Brandy and Dana. I love the bridal sessions as my brides find out are way more fun than they thought. I will post a few more later in the week.
Heather & Tripp were married Sept 13 at the Groome Inn in Greensboro. Two more people I admire, Heather is a nurse and Tripp is a Greensboro Police Officer. Heather worked very hard on her wedding and did a great job.
Brandy & James were married on Sept. 20 at the Firethorne Country Club in Marvin, NC just south of Charlotte. When you talk about people I admire here is one I want you to meet. Brandy is a pediatric nurse in Charlotte, one of our true heroes.
Once again I had the pleasure of spending some time with the lovely Hannah. We had so much fun on Hannah's first session she came back for another. We focused on taking advantage of different color and background textures which allowed us to produce some remarkable images, and of course, thanks to Hannah's great attitude.
I arrived back home late yesterday evening from the Biltmore House in Asheville, NC and could not wait to get a few images ready of Christina and Tony's wedding to share with everyone. Christina and Tony along with their families are some of the most gracious people I have had the pleasure to meet, it truly was an enjoyable time in one of the best locations.
I am extremely excited about my new, top of the line book collections. I now have new wedding, baby, senior, engagement, bridal, and sign in books available. The new books range in size from the 11x14 leather brushed aluminum cover book to the 8x10 wedding photobook. Each book is a custom one of a kind work of art.
I had the privilege to spend some time with Hannah on Friday afternoon for her Senior portraits. I could not have asked for a better client, Hannah indulged all my ideas which turned into some of the best images of the year, and her wonderful personality really shines through.
