Castle Carnevale Jamestown

I had a fun time at the Castle Carnevale last night photographing something outside the norm for me. Definitely was some challenging lighting conditions, but I think I did ok. Here are a few of my favorites.

Jerome Davis PBR rodeo

I have tons of images from Engagements, Weddings, and Seniors I could post today, but instead I think I will share my trip to the Rodeo with Spencer. Cindy was working the event in Paramedic form so me and Spencer rode along and what a good time we had. Hot dogs, cold cokes, bulls, mud, and my little boy...life is good! On a side note for people interested in photography, I shot these about an hour ago with a 4 year old Nikon D70 with a $200 35mm lens. It is not so much about the gear, but reading a scene and adjusting accordingly.

Family Daycation

Took a little "day"cation as my 5 year old calls it to Carowinds on probably the hottest day of the year, but fun none the less. I can tell I spend maybe too much time with my kids as the highlight of my day was getting a pic with Squidward. The second image was taken on a moving rollercoaster and I have the bruise on my side to prove it.

Demi Lovato Concert

I recently survived a trip with my daughter Sarah to the Demi Lovato concert in Greensboro. Demi is Sarah's favorite performer and I got her backstage passes with 6th row seats. I guess I have finally made to jump to rock photographer. (not really)
